1. The Short Version
Photo editing runs on your device. Background removal, beautification, cropping and all standard image processing are 100% on-device. We do not upload, store or view those photos.
One exception — AI Attire. If you choose the optional Attire feature, that single photo is uploaded to our server and passed to OpenAI to generate a version of you in formal clothing. We ask for your explicit consent the first time, and the feature is never offered for passport, visa or other strict identity documents. See section 2.
The optional Cloud Album stores photos in your own iCloud private database (Apple CloudKit). Only your Apple account can access it; we cannot.
We do not require registration and do not collect your name, phone number or contacts.
2. Data We Process
Photos: processed locally on your device only. Saved to your Photos library or your iCloud private database at your request.
AI Attire (optional, opt-in): when you tap a clothing style, that one photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our server (Alibaba Cloud, Singapore) and forwarded to OpenAI's image API, which returns the same photo wearing formal clothing. Only the clothing is changed; facial features are not altered.
We do not keep your photo. It exists only in memory for the seconds the request takes, and is never written to disk or to any database on our side.
What we do keep is an anonymous record of the request — which style, how long it took, and how much it cost — so we can bill correctly and detect abuse. It contains no image data.
OpenAI processes the image under its API data usage policy: API content is not used to train their models, and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring.
The generated result is returned to your device and cached there. Nothing is published or shared with anyone.
The feature requires a subscription and your one-time consent, and can simply not be used — every other part of the app works without it.
Purchase status: subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate entitlements; this involves an anonymous device identifier and receipt data, never your photos.
Advertising identifier (IDFA): requested via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and used only if you allow it, to improve our marketing. You can decline with full functionality.
Diagnostics: anonymous usage events (e.g. "purchase page shown") to improve the product. No photo content is ever included.
3. Permissions
Camera: to take your ID photo.
Photo Library: to pick a photo and save results.
Both are optional and requested only when needed.
4. Data Sharing & Retention
We do not sell personal data. Third parties involved: Apple (payments, iCloud), RevenueCat (subscription validation), and — only if you use AI Attire — OpenAI (image generation, see section 2). Apart from that one opt-in feature, photos stay on your device or in your iCloud; delete them anytime in the app or in Photos.
5. Children
The app is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
